Fingers Are Not Multilingual

Strange as it may sound, I just realised that my fingers understand English better than Bahasa Malaysia.

Just now, I tried to resuscistate my Bahasa Malaysia blog after leaving it to gather dusts for eons. I realised something as I was typing the post, MY FINGER DON'T UNDERSTAND BAHASA MALAYSIA!!!

It took me basically half an hour to type a paragraph which would have taken me not more than ten minutes to type the same length in English!! And that is not including the errors and rectifications. Probably it is due to the words in English that I am so used to that to be typing in another language, the fingers are sort of lost because the words probably uses lesser certain alphabet while increases the uses of others seldom used in English instead. The flow and the speed is just not there. With English, I can think and type, with Bahasa Malaysia, it seemed that I either think or I either type, hahaha.

On another note, I just came back from Melaka, my home state, a few minutes ago. Melaka is like 2 hours to the south of Selangor and while there, I stopped at one of the stall that sell "kuih udang" or in English, I guess I can call it "prawn fritters". I remembered having this particular stall's kuih udang when I was much younger and the taste brought back some old joys, relishing and savouring the sinful food, albeit a tasteful one at that. It has been ages since I have tasted this particular stall's kuih udang and it still taste as good. Some things never change huh? Except the price and the portion of course.
